  • 2010 Regional Meetings will be taking place again in the Fall in the form of a Quality Assurance Forum! Look out for information coming out in August to register! 

  • Trainer Upgrades: Take a one day Trainer upgrade in the new PHCD. This professional development will be offered across Ontario into 2010 to give all Trainers the opportunity to be able to deliver the new PHCD training.

  • HIGH FIVE and Public Health - FREE training opportunity!
    Through the support of the Ministry of Health Promotion, HIGH FIVE is offering a FREE training opportunity for Public Health Practitioners to become HIGH FIVE Trainers. Click here for further information.

  • HIGH FIVE Sport Training is now available across Ontario. To request a training click on the 'Training Request' tab on the Ontario website.   • HIGH FIVE®Organizations Access to Fee Subsidy
    Under the amended Ontario Regulation 262, Day Nurseries Act, delivery agents may provide fee subsidies for children ages 6 to 12 who are enrolled in recreation programs or for special needs resourcing for children with special needs (ages 6 to 18) who are enrolled in recreation programs.

    The Act requires an organization meet 5 funding eligibility requirements in order to receive fee subsidies for children. One of the five requirements is quality assurance. HIGH FIVE® is an option for meeting the quality assurance requirement and government regulations require specific criteria be met by an organization.
