Strategic Advisory Council
The HIGH FIVE® Strategic Advisory Council provides advice to the Parks and Recreation Ontario (PRO) Board of Directors and staff on matters pertaining to program and policy development, priority setting, and the strategic direction of the HIGH FIVE® standard. Members of the Council also play an advocacy and outreach role to assist in achieving the mission of HIGH FIVE®.
Council Members represent a diversity of experience and competencies that ensures HIGH FIVE® has a long-term positive impact on children’s recreation and sport in Canada. The Chair of the Council is appointed annually by the PRO Board of Directors. Members are appointed by the chair for two-year terms. A member of the PRO Board of Directors is assigned as a liaison between the Board and the Advisory Council and a staff liaison is assigned to work with the Council.
